About me

Gillian Watts, Counsellor and Psychotherapist (MBACP)

I am a fully qualified, experienced counsellor, psychotherapist and accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I have many years experience of working with adults and young people within a GP practice, as well as Heads Together, a youth counselling organisation. For many years I was the school counsellor for the Yehudi Menuhin School in Cobham, Surrey, and now dedicate all my time in private practice.

Qualifications:

  • First Class BA hons in Integrative-Relational Counselling, Middlesex University
  • Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for Trauma Themes, Level 1
  • Certificate in Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Surrey Counselling Training
  • First Class hons in Early Childhood Montessori Teaching, St. Nicholas Montessori College, London.

I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP)

I attend fortnightly clinical supervision, have professional indemnity insurance, and adhere to the BACP's Ethical Framework for Good Practice.
