Walk and talk therapy
Walk and talk therapy can feel a lot less intimidating than sitting in the traditional counselling room. It can also help you to think through your problems more clearly. The combination of walking and fresh air can make it easier to talk.
When you exercise, your brain chemistry changes through the release of endorphins (happy hormones), which can calm anxiety and lift your mood.
Some people find that exercising can give you space to think things over and help your mind feel calmer.
